Context
A construction company based in Tajikistan needed to source construction and interior
finishing materials from Chinese suppliers. They had no internal team on the ground in China to
manage it.
What I did
- Identified and vetted suppliers across 30+ SKUs of construction and interior finishing
materials
- Traveled to China in person to visit and vet factories directly, given the scale of the
order
- Negotiated pricing and terms directly with manufacturers
- Coordinated with logistics partners to move goods across borders
- Communicated directly with customs brokers to keep shipments moving without delays
